RES 1966-168 - 00011215230 RESOLUTION NO. 168 - 1966 A RESOLUTION REGARDING TRANSFER OF CAPACITY TO THE NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT. BE IT RESOLVED, by -the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is a member of the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District; and WHEREAS, the City and the District entered into a supplemental agreement dated the 8th day of January, 1964, which supplemental agreement amends the master agreement between member municipalities and the District; and WHEREAS, said supplemental agreement gives the City of Fridley the option of purchasing capacity in the District's system, or in the alternative permits the City to exchange all or part of the City's capacity entering the Minneapolis system at 43rd and Marshall; and WHEREAS, the City has presently connected 1,006 RECs to the District's system and pronoses to connect an additional 600 or 700 RECs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council does exercise the above referred to option by agreeing to transfer permanently to the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District one Cfs of its capacity in the Minneapolis system to the District, such transfer to be in accordance with the provisions of the supplemental agreement between the District and the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to sign all necessary agreements to effectuate said assignment.
