RES 1966-190 - 00011249264 RESOLUTION NO. 190 - 1966 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY -OF FRIDLEY - PRQJECT S.S. 5 -C WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution passed by the City Council of the City of Fridley on the 21st day of June, 1960, Comstock R- Davis, Inc. the Consulting Engineers retained for the purpose, have prepared plans and specifications for the improvement by a storm sewer for that property lying within the City of Fridley and contained within the fellow..-in.- area: Commencing at the intersection of the westerly right of way of the Northern Pacific R,y. & Great, Northern R,y, and Trunk Highway 69JI (formerly Highway 100); thence east along Trunk Highway 694 to its intersection with Trunk Highway 65; thence north along Trunk Highway 65 to its intersection with the south entrance of West Moore Lake Drive: thence along West Moore Lake Drive and Quincy Street to 61st Avenue N.F.; thence westerly along 61st Avenue N.E. to its intersection with 6th Street N.E.; thence north on 6th Street to 63rd Avenue N.E.; thence west on 63rd Avenue N.F. to 5th Street N.E. e:r +ended; thence north on 5th Street extended and 5th Street to its inter - section with Mississippi Street; thence west on Mississippi Street to the west right of way line of the Northern Pacific ;tv, Rc the Great Northern Ry.; thence so:ztherly along said riebt, of way line of said railways to the point of beginning. n ,ND WHEREAS, the original plans have been presenters to the Council and have from time to time been revised, and revised final plans and specifications for nart of above area basically lying north of Interstate I #694 (Highway #100) and west of university Avenue and designated as Project No. S.S. 5 -C, have now been presented to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota: 1. Such revised plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement, under such approved, revised plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for twenty -one (21) days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened at 12:00 o'clock noon and considered by the Council at 6:00 o'clock P.N., on February 6, 1967, in the Co»ncil Cbamhers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash denosit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certi- fied check payable to the Clerk for five (5`9) per cent of the amount of such bid.
