RESOLUTION-NO. 37-1966
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ANOKA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
TO DESIGNATE CERTAIN STREETS AS COUNTY STATE AID
ROADS.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota as follows:
' WHEREAS, the City of Fridley at the present time is maintaining numerous
city streets; and
WHEREAS, the County of Anoka is in the process of establishing a
county state aid road systems and
WHEREAS, the County of Anoka has designated certain streets within the
City of Fridley as county state aid roads; and
WHEREAS, it would be feasible and economical and fit into the County
highway pattern to designate the following streets as county state aid
roads:
1. 49th Avenue from Main Street to University Avenue
2. 79th Avenue from East River Road to its junction with
County Road H2;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Fridley that they hereby request the County Commissioners of Anoka County
to designate the aforementioned streets as county state aid roads and
assume jurisdiction thereof.
