A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREETS 1966 -3 AND APPROVING PLANS
AND PROVIDING FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1111966 of the City Council adopted on the
22nd day of January, 1966 set the date for hearing on the proposed
improvement, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
' WHEREAS, All of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice.
NOW2 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 11 -1966 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing
on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ") in said notice
except
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas
as one improvement, to be performed under contract let by
Anoka County Department of Highways, in accordance with bids
received.
2. The City Engineer and the Engineers of Anoka-county Department of
Highways are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improvement
and are authorized to prepare final plans and specifications for
such improvement. Further, such plans as submitted and marked
as State Aid Project 02- 606 -02, are hereby approved.
3. The Anoka County Department of Highway is authorized to advertise
for bids for the performance of the work. Such bids shall be
received on the date called, tabulated, and a contract for the
work let for the benefit of the City; all pursuant to the
cooperative agreement approved by Council action on March 21, 1966,
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS
21ST DAY OF MARCH, 1966.
