RESOLUTION No. 50 -1966
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -4
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 33 -1966 of the City Council adopted the 7th
day of March 1966, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for
reference as Exhibit "A ", and '
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the
Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required
notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon
at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution No. 33 -1966 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to-wit-
a) The improvements as noted under the Construction
Item A in the Notice of Hearing (in Exhibit "A ")
for the following streets:
Commerce Lane: 73rd Ave. to Osborne Road
University West Service Drive: 73rd Ave. to Osborne #d.
Skywood Court (5h Court)
3rd Street: 48th Avenue to 49th Avenue
3rd Street: 46th Avenue to 48th Avenue
45th Avenue: Main.Street to University Avenue '
46th Avenue: Main Street to 3rd Street
47th Avenue: Main Street to University Avenue
48th Avenue: Main Street to Second Street
48th Avenue: 2nd Street to 3rd Street
49th Avenue: Roman Road to University Avenue
49th Avenue: Main Street to Roman Road
2nd Street: 45th Avenue to 46th Avenue
2nd Street: 46th Avenue to 49th Avenue
2' Street: 45th Avenue to 46th Avenue
2k Street: 46th Avenue to 49th Avenue
Hayes Street: 75th Avenue to 76th Avenue
Onondaga Street: Lakeside Road to Stinson Blvd.
75th Way: East Rive Road to Existing pavement on Alden Way
Lafayette Street: East River Road to Broad Street
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as
one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be
performed under one or more contracts as may be deemed
advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. The City Engineer and Comstock and Davis, Incorporated
are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve-
ment. They shall prepare final plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
