RESOLUTION NO. 73 - 1966
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fridley
duly held on the 16th day of May, 1966, the following Resolution was
offered by John C. Wright, Councilman, Seconded by Leonard W. Samuelson,
Councilman: to-wit-
WHEREAS, the Commission of Highways has prepared plans, special
provisions and specifications for the improvement of a part of Trunk
Highway Number 393 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 694 within the
corporate limits of the City of Fridley from the E. end of Mississippi
River Bridge 6440 to E. Anoka County line;and:
WHEREAS, said plans are on file in the office of the Department ,
of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, Being Marked, labeled, and
identified as S.P. 0285 -10 (T .H. 695 -393): and
WHEREAS, said special provisions are on file in the office of
the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked,
labeled, and identified as S.P. 0285 -10 (694 -393), 2781 -96 (94 -392)9
2786 -21 (94 -393), Minnesota Project I 694 -5 (42) 226, 1 094 -3 (134)
223, which, together with the Minnesota Department of Highways Spec -
fications for Highway Construction, dated January 1, 1964, on file
in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, constitute the speci-
fications for said improvement of Trunk Highway Number 694 renumbered
as Trunk Highway Number 393; and
WHEREAS, copies of said plans and special provisions as so
marked, labeled and identified are also on file in the office of the
City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the term- "said plans and special provisions" as herein-
after used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended
to mean, referto, and incorporate the plans and special provisions
in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, that said plans and special provisions
for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 694 renumbered as Trunk
Highway Number 393 within the linits of the City of Fridley be and ,
hereby are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the elevations and grades as shown
in said plans and special provisions be and they are hereby approved
and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned
by the construction of said Trunk Highway Number 694 renumbered as
Trunk Highway Number 393 in accordance with said plans and special
provisions.
Upon the call of the roll the following Councilmen voted in
favor of the Resolution, Mayor Kirkham, Councilmen Wright, Sheridan,
Samuelson and Harris.
The following Councilmen voted against its adoption: None
Whereupon the Mayor and presiding officer declared the
Resolution adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY THIS 16TH DAY OF MAY, 1966.
