RESOLUTION NO. 70 - 1966
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION OF CITY OF FRIDLEY IN
ANOKA COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF MUNICIPALITIES.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY THIS 23RD DAY OF MAY, 1966.

WHEREAS, it is the judgement of the Council of the City
of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota that this municipality
be
a part of and have a voice in an Association of Municipal -
ities of Anoka County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Fridley:
1.
That the City of Fridley by and through formal action
taken by its governing body on this date, does hereby
declare its desire to be a member of the Anoka County
Association of municipalities, with all attendant rights,
duties and obligations thereto, and hereby authorizes its
Mayor to proceed to execute and file the proper papers
and fees necessary for such membership.
2,
That the first delegate to represent this municipality
shall be Mayor Jack 0. Kirkham, of Fridley, Minnesota,
and that the first alternate shall be appointed at an early date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY THIS 23RD DAY OF MAY, 1966.
