RES 1967-105 - 00010759I I Q Q v ice_ RESOLUTION NO. 105 -1967 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 88 BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit: a) Sanitary sewer, watermains and laterals and service connections serving the following streets: 1. Norton Avenue from Central Avenue to West End of the Street 2. 69th Avenue from Central Avenue to East City Limits 3. Proposed 72nd Avenue between Highway #65 and Central Avenue b) Storm Sewer and Appurtenances serving the following streets: 1. Hayes Street from 73rd Avenue (County Road 8) to Onondaga Street 2. 73rd Avenue (County Road 8) from Central Avenue to Stinson Blvd. 2. That Comstock & Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, are hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications an- to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs of said improve- ments, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of their findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (an._ the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. 3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and each of them); and upon receipt from said Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. - 4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
