RESOLUTION NO. 121 -1967
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PP.ELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND
STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 88 (ADDENDUM #1)
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Water main extension on the West side of properties
on Main Street (along Railroad Tracks) between 45th
Avenue and 53rd Avenue.
2. That Comstock & Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, are hereby
authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications an:
to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs of said improve-
ments, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all
fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or
the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of their findi.n .&s,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can
best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (a:
the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of th�
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed
assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the o�•m=_:
of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as ma;
be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and each of them); and
upon receipt_ from said Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate
estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each
of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of assessments
of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made available for
inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby
at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time
reasonable and convenient.
