P11E1I14INARY PUNS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND F,'ST11-1ATES Or' THE COSTS THELZEOF: STREET IMYHOV1I4r iT PROJECT ST. 1966 -1 BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be,ccnstructed certain improvements, to -wit: Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bitum- inous mat, and other facilities located as follows: Stinson Boulevard: From Mississippi Street to 66-2 Avenue 2. That the City E­n!gineer, Nasim Qureshi, and Milner W. Carley & Associates, hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every itea of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection ther�_,;rith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findinEs, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection t:,ith some other improvements (and the estimated cost as also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be -proposed to be assessed. ' j. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (ar_d each of them); and upon receipt from said Engineers of t:'e said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. 4. That said preliminary report of the Engineers and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made available for inspection to the corner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
