• RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING
• PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1967 -4
WHEREAS,.the construction of certain improvements.is deemed to
be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners
affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1.. That the preliminary report submitted by the City Engineer,_
Nasim Qureshi, is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 7th day of August, 1967
at 8 :00 P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the
purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted
in the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by
reference, Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and
each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and
areas as noted in said notice: All of the same to be assessed
proportionately according to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and-directed to give notice
of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the
official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law,
such notice to be substantially in the form and substance of the
notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 17TH
DAY OF JULY, 1967.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
ST. 1967 -4
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley,.Anoka County
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
- NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE ZS'HEREBY GIVEN THAT on,the 7th day -of
August, 1967, at 8 :00 o'clock P.M. the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear
all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction -
(in the lands --.and streets noted below) of the following improvements,
to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, bit-
uminous surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, and storm sewer
system, water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities
located as follows:
64TH AVENUE N.E. FROM UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO 5TH STREET
5TH STREET FROM 64TH AVENUE N.E. TO MISSISSIPPI STREET
ESTIMATED COST . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $25,215.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS AS
FOLLOWS:
For Construction Item above -------------------------- - - - - --
All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all
lands within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided
by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota
Statutes 1961, Chapter 429 and laws amendatory thereof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
