RESOLUTION NO. 139 -1967
A RESOLUTION OIDFRING PRELIVII NARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTIMATES OF THF; COSTS THEREOF: STREET 1TM1OTE'E1T PROJECT
ST. 1967 -3
BE IT REsuva , by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property ovaers
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bitum-
inous mat, concrete curb and gutter., water, and sanitary sewer services,
storm sewer and other facilities, located as follows:
T.H. #47 West Service Road: From Satellite Lane to 671 Avenue N.E.
2. That the City Enginser, Nasim O,ureshi, and Minnesota Highway Engineers are -
hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and
specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the
costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from
inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to
be incurred) in connection therewi`h, or the financing thereof, and
to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether
said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made
as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the
estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the
lands or area as may redeive benefits therefrom and as may be
proposed to be assessed. '
3. That the City Cleric shall act to ascertain the name and address of
the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area
of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (ard
each of them); and upon receipt from said Engineers of t „e said
preliminary report, calculate esti.ciates of assessments as may be
proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineers and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made
available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may
be affected thereby at any public hsarir_g held relative thereto, as
well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
