RES 1967-15 - 0001063317 RESOLUTION NO. 15 - 1967 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING ' A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: WATER, SANITARY SEWER AND STORM SEWER NO, 84. WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed:to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That the prelimivary report submitted by Comstock & Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, is hereby received and accepted. 2. That this Council will meet on the 13th day of February, 1967 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ". 3. That the area proposed -to be.assessed for said improvements and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and areas r as noted in said notice. All of the same to be assessed propor- tionately according to the benefits received. 4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 13th day of February, 1967, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place, hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit: OONSTRUCTION ITEM A. Sanitary Sewer, Water Mains, Laterals and Service Connections in and serving the area bounded by: Baker Street on the West side and T.H. #65 on the Bast side, Osborne Road on the North side and 75th Avenue extended Bast on the South side. B. Storm Sewer and Appurtenances in and serving the area bounded by: Central Avenue on the West side and Stinson Boulevard on the East side, 75th Avenue on the North side and 73rd Avenue on the South side. ESTIMATED COST. . . . . . ... . . . . . i . . $43,110.50 All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953, Chapter 398 and law amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the City Charter.
