A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEiIENT PROJECT NO. 1.966 -1
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on
August 21, 1967, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a
proposed assessment of the cost of street improvements,
concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system, sanitary
sewer services and other facilities.
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such
proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his
office for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall
in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota,
on the 18th day of September___, 1967,
at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessment
for Street Improvement Project No. 1966 -1.
2. The City Manager shall publish notices of the time
and place of meeting in the official newspaper of
the City, at least two (2) weeks prior to such
meeting.

FRIDLEY THIS 21st DAY OF August , 1967.

NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR STREET II4PROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1966 -1
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will
meet at the City Hall in said City on the 18th day of September 1967, at
8:00 o'clock P.M., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the
proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement, to -wit:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1966 -1
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now
on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the
office of the Clerk of said City.
At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections
to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the
construction of street improvements, including grading, stabilized base,
bituminous surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system,
service connections and other facilities located as follows:
Kimball Street: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Janesville Street: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Ironton Street: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Hugo Street: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Glencoe Street: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Broad Avenue: Fairmont Street- to.Lafayette Street
75th Avenue: Old Central Avenue to Bacon Drive
Service Drive along East of University: 73rd to 75th Avenue
Madison Street: Lyric Lane to Osborne Road
641 Way: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Lucia Lane: 290 feet South of 68th Place to 68th Place
68th Place: Lucia Lane West to Service Road
Service Drive East of T.H. #65: 68th Place to 68th Avenue
McKinley Street: 66th Avenue to 66� Avenue

The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and
each of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each
of them and lying within the general area of the above noted streets.
Said improvements will be assessed against the properties
within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to
each of the lands therein contained accorcing to t'-.e benefits received.
