RESOLUTION NO. 16 - 1%7
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE LOCATION OF THE
ANOKA COUNTY ICE ARENA,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota as follows:
WHEREAS, the Anoka County Commissioners have determined a need for
an Anoka County Ice Arena: and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners have determined that Fridley would.be an
ideal location within Anoka County for said ice arena; and
WHEREAS, they have requested the Fridley City Council to assist in
securing a location for said arena; and
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council desires that said ice arena be
located within the City of Fridley,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the County Commissioners request
be forwarded to the Fridley Parks and Recreation Commission for their
recommendations.regarding a suitable site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council will cooperate
in securing any.site which is acceptable to the Parka and Recreation
Commission and the Anoka County Commissioners.
