RESOLUTION NO. 161 -1967
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, APPROVAL OF PLANS
AND ADDING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS ONTO THE
EXISTING STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -2
(CHANGE ORDER #1)
WHEREAS, the Resolution 457 -1966 of the City Council adopted
on the 18th day of April, 1966, set the date for hearing on the proposed
improvements, as specifically noted in the notice of hearing attached
hereto for reference as EXHIBIT "A ", and
n WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the malting of the improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the
Council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required
notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon
at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements heretofore proposed by
Council resolution are hereby ordered to be effected and
completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base,
bituminous surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, storm
sewer system and appurtenant facilities, located as follows:
MSA 9308 (73rd Avenue): From Commerce Lane to T.H. #47
That the work involved in said improvement as listed above shall
be added on to the contract of:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -2
By CHANGE ORDER #1
The Change Order #1, Street Improvement Project St. 1966 -2, as
submitted by the City Engineer is hereby approved.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS
21st DAY OF AUGUST 1967.E
