41tums , the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners
affected thereby,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUPiCIL of the City of Fridley
as follows:
1. That the preliminary report, submitted by the City
Engineer is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 9t" day of
October, 1967 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City
Hall in the City of Fridley for the'purpose of
holdin- a Public Hearing on the i.mprovenent noted
in the Notice attached hereto and made a part
thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said
improvements and each of them as noted in said
notice are all the lands and areas as noted in
said notice; all of the same to be assessed pro-
portionately according to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed
to give notice of such Public Hearin- by publish-
ing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of
the City of Fridley according to law, such notice
to be substantially in the form and substance of
the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".

10EREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota has deemed it necessary- and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THE`RFTOP.E, NOTICE IS HMEBY GIVEN THAT on the 9th day of October,
1967 at 8:00 O'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time and place hear all parties interested
in said improvec-Lents in whole or in part.
The general nature of the i.mproverr!ents in the construction (in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION IT X1
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, bituminous
surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, water and sewer services, incidental
drainage, and other facilities located as follows:
Hugo Street: From East River Road to East End of Street,
Connecting With Ironton Street.

THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROIMME ii' IS AS FOLLM'IS:

All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands
within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Council, all under the followin. authority, to -grit: Minnesota Statutes
1961, Chapter ¢29 and lags amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the
City Charter.
