A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND EXECUTING A JOINT AGHE0I ^F IT.WITII THE VILLAGE OF
NEW BRIGHTON FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STINSON BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 131 -1967 of the City Council of the City
of Fridley adopted the 101 day of July ordered the improvement of
Stinson Boulevard from Mississippi Street to 66-z Avenue.
WHEREAS, this is a boundary street common with the Village of
New Brighton, therefore such street should be constructed under a
joint agreement, and
WHEREAS, such an agreement has been proposed which is acceptable
to the two municipalities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of the City of
Fridley that the final plans and specifications for the improvement of
Stinson Boulevard by Milner W. Carley and Associates are hereby approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
of the City of Fridley be authorized and directed to execute and
transmit to the Village of New Brighton such agreement, a copy of
which is attached hereto, for the purpose of the Village of New
Brighton executing such agreement.
