RES 1967-19 - 0001063822 RESOLUTION N0. 19 - 1 %7 A RESOLUTION REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT 51ST AND UNIVERSITY AVENUE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: WHEREAS, a large number of citizens of the City of Fridley have expressed a desire to have a pedestrian bridge constructed over University Avenue at 51st Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the administration to determine the necessity of said bridge; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of information from the administration, the Council is of the opinion that there is a definite need for a pedestrian bridge at said location. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the Fridley City Council approves the construction of said bridge. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administration arrange a joint meeting of representatives of School District #13, City of Columbia Heights, and the Minnesota Highway Department to confer regarding design, construction, and cost sharing of said bridge.
