RESOLUTION N0. 34 - 1967
A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NO, 124 - 1959.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has previously organized an
insurance committee composed of insurance agents who are resident
taxpayers of the City to advise the City Council on questions of an
insurance program for the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council has employed an insurance consultant for
purposes of drawing specifications so that all insurance coverage may
be let on bids; and
WHEREAS, the Council feels that members of the insurance
committee could not bid on said coverage; and
WHEREAS, the Council feels that resident members of the City
should be eligible to bid on the insurance coverage.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Fridley Insurance
Committee is dissolved and Resolution No. 124 -1959 is hereby repealed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS
20TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1967.
