RES 1967-53 - 00010679RESOLUTION NO. 53 -1967 ' A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CON- STRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: STREET IMPROVE- MENT PROJECT ST. 1967 -1 (ADDENDUM #2) WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That the preliminary report submitted by the City Engineer is hereby received and accepted. 2. That this Council will meet on the 17th day of April, 1967 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ". 3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice; all of the same to be assessed pro - portionately according to the benefits received. 4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give notice of such Public Hearing by publish- ing a notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". Brunsell s6 OFFICIAL PUBLICATION CITY OF FRIDLEY ..(Exhibit A) i NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1967 -1 (ADDENDUM 4-2) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements hereinafter described be made. NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 17th day of April, 1967, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. The general nature of the improvements in the construction (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit: a) Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot - mix, bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water and sewer service and incidental drainage and other facilities, located as follows: Ruth Street: Liberty to Existing Pavement Liberty Street: East River Road to Ruth Street b) Storm sewer and appurtenances in and serving the area bounded as: Commencing at the intersection of Pearson Way and East River Road thence North along East River Road to a point on the westerly extension of the South Boundary of Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition; thence East along said South boundary of Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition to the Southeast corner of said Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition; thence North along the East line of said Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition to the Northeast corner of said Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition; thence East along the easterly extension of the North line of Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition tb the West boundary of the Great Northern Railway Right of Way; thence South along said West Right of Way line of the Great Northern Railroad to a point located 400 feet (400') as measured along the West Right of Way line, South of the centerline of 79th Avenue; thence West in a straight line to the point of beginning, thence terminating. All lying in Section 3, T -30, R -24, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands within, adjacent and abutting thereto. All of said ?and to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the Council, all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Statutes 1961, Chapter 429 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the City Charter.
