RESOLUTION NO. 54 -1967 ,
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL.PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1967 -1
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 37 -1967 of the.City Council adopted the
6m day of March, 1967, set the date for hearing on the proposed
improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached '
hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 37 -1967 are hereby ordered'to be effected and completed
as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a) The improvements as noted under the Construction Item
in the Notice of Hearing (in Exhibit "A ") for the follow-
ing streets:
63rd Avenue: University Service Road to 412' St. Extended
63rd Avenue: 4" Street Extended to 5th Street
Rainbow Drive: 61st Avenue to Comet Lane
Arthur Street.; Mississippi Street to North Property Line
of Rice Creek Elementary School.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as
one improvement.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the Engineer for this
improvement. He shall prepare final plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
