RESOLUTION NO. 72 -1967
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEP[ENT AND FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF:
STREET IMPrOVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1967 -1 (ADDENDUM #2)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 53 -1967 of the City Council adopted the 20th
day of March, 1967, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted_in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 53 -1967 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
The improvements as noted under the Construction Items (a) and
(b) in the Notice of Hearing (in Exhibit "A ")
a) Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot
mix, bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water and sewer
service and incidental drainage and other facilities, located
as follows:
Ruth Street: Liberty Street to Existing Pavement
Liberty Street: East River Road to Ruth Street
b) Storm sewer and appurtenances in and serving the area bounded as:
Commencing at the intersection of Pearson Way and East River Roa__
thence North along East River Road to a point on the westerly
extension of the South boundary of Bourdeaux's Spring Brook
Addition; thence East along said South boundary_of Bourdeaux's
Spring Brook Addition to the Southeast corner of said Bourdeaux's
Spring Brook Addition; thence North along the East line of said
Bourdeaux's Spring Brook Addition to the Northeast corner of
said Bouj;deaux's Spring Brook Addition; thence East along the
Easterly extension of the North line of Bourdeaux's Spring Brook
Addition to the West boundary of the Great Northern Railway
Right of Way; thence South along said West Right of Way line of
the Great Northern Railroad to a point located 400 feet (400')
as measured along the Wes*_ Right of Way line, South of the center-
line of 79th Avenue; thence West in a straight line to the point
of beginning, thence terminz,ting.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one
improvement.

2. That work to be performed under this project may be per-
formed under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable
upon receipt of bids.
3. The City Engineer and Comstock & Davis, Incorporated, Con-
sulting Engineers, are hereby designated as the Engineers
for this improvement. They shall prepare final plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
