RESOLUTION NO. 80 -1967
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STORM SEWER IMPROVE-
MENT PROJECT NO. 5 (SCHEDULE C)
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council April 17,
1967, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed
assessment of the cost of Storm Sewer Improvement Project
No. 5 (Schedule C).
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such
proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in
his office for public inspection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the
City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 8th
day of May, 1967, at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon the pro-
posed assessment for Storm Sewer Improvement Project
No. 5 (Schedule C).
2.- The City Manager shall publish notices of the time
and place of meeting in the official newspaper of
the City, at least two (2) weeks prior to such
meeting.

NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 5 (SCHEDULE C)
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the
City Hall in said City on this 8th day of May, 1967, at 8:00 P.M., to hear and
pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the
following improvement to -wit:
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 5 (SCHEDULE C)
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and
open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk
of said City.
At said hearing, the Council will consider written or oral objections to the
proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the construction of
storm sewer mains and connecting lines in the lands and streets designated in
manner as follows:
Storm Sewer and appurtenances in and serving the area bounded as:
' Commencing at the intersection, at the westerly right -of -way of the Northern
Pacific Railway and the Great Northern Railway and the northerly right -of-
way of Trunk Highway 4694 (Formerly Highway /100); thence east along the
northerly right -of -way of Trunk Highway #694 to its intersection with the
westerly right -of -way of State Trunk Highway #47; thence northerly along
the westerly right -of -way of State Trunk Highway #47 to its intersection
with the southerly right -of -way of Mississippi Street thence westerly
along said southerly right -of -way of Mississippi Street et its intersec-
tion with the westerly right -of -way of the northern Pacific Railway and
the Great Northern Railway, thence southerly along said westerly right-
of -way of said railways to the point of beginning.
The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all
that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and abutting on or lying
adjacent to the above named area. Said improvements will be assessed against the
properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to
each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. The total
cost of the improvement is estimated at $246,000.00
