RESOLUTION N0. 83 -1967
A RESOLUTION THAT AN OUTSIDE CONSULTANT IN THE
POLICE ADMINISTRATION BE RETAINED TO STUDY AND
MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING THE ORGANIZATION
AND ADN11NISTRATION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Fridley Police Civil Service Commission has filed
a mport dated November, 1966; and
WHEREAS, this report raises certain questions regarding the
organization and administration of the Fridley Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council and its individual members
do not consider themselves as experts in the field of police
adminstration.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the City Administration
contact an outside consultant in the field of police administration
to obtain proposals regarding a study and recommendations on the
organization and administration of the Fridley Police Department.
