RESOLUTION NO. 84 -1967
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF
THE FRIDLEY POLICE CIVIL SERVICE CONIMI SSION AUTHORIZING
THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE OF
WASHINGTON, D.C., TO REVIEW AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS
RELATIVE TO ANY IMPROVEMENTS THAT MIGHT BE MADE IN THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the report and recommendations of the Fridley Police
Civil Service Commission raise certain questions about the administration
of the Fridley Police Department; and
WHEREAS,the Fridley City Council believes that it would be in
the best interest of the City to have an outside expert consulting
agency review the operation and organization of the Police Department.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Administration
contact the International Association of Chiefs of Police of Washington,
D. C., to request a quotation as to the cost of making such review and
recommendations.
