RESOLUTION NO. 102 -1968 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTI1•1ATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1968 -1B (ADDENDUN IM) WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96 71968 adopted the 1st day of July, 1968 by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as speci- fically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1• That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 96 -1968 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: a. Street improvements including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water and sanitary sewer services, storm sewer and other facilities, located as follows: Horizon Drive: 53rd Avenue to Interstate #694 Service Drive Crown Road: Main Street to Horizon Drive Ventura Avenue: Main Street to Horizon Drive That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one improvement. 2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids. 3. That the City Engineer Nasim Qureshi and the Consulting Engineers Suburban Engineering Co. are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve- ment. They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 5TH DAY OF AUGUST 1968. 0 - Jack-O.
