RESOLU`L'ION NO. 105 - 1968 A RESOLUTION ORDERING YRELIP -UNARY YLANS, SPEC IFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF TILE; COSTS THEREOF: STREET I1TRMTE?, NT PROJECT ST. 1968 -1B (ADDZNDTU;A h5) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit: Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bitum- inous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water and sanitary seater services and other facilities located as follows: (The petitions received and filed by the City for the improvements are indicated opposite to the relative street.) Polk Street: 323.46' South of Lynde Drive Petition ;16 -1968 Skywood Court in Swanstrom's Court Addition Petition 021 -1968 West Service Road of T.H. f65: Railroad Right of Way to 73rd Avenue Petition 020 -1965' 2. That the City Engineer- Director of Public Works, Nasim M. Qureshi, is hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended ,includino also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. j. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and r_ each of them); and upon receipt from said n>vineers of the said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. Q. That said preliminary report of the Engineers and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
