RESOLUTION NO. 121 -1968
A RI_�-OOLU`1'ION ORDERING PRELIMINARY - PLANS, SPECIFJ- CATIONS, AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS `l'IMUIOF: STOILK SEVER PROJECT NO. 89
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and o£'the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Storm sewer, drainage facilities and appurtenances in and serving
the area bounded by:
Highway J165 on the West, Rice Creek on the South, and the City
boundary line on the North and East.
2. That Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers are
hereby authorized and directad to draw the preliminary plans and
specifi cations and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the
costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from
inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to
be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and
to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether
said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made
as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the
estimated cost as recou:mended),including also a description of the
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be
proposed to be assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of
the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area
of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and
each of them); and upon receipt from said FY gi.neers of the said
preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be

proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineers and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made
available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may
be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as
hell. as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
