' BE IT RESOLVED, by the
PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
TIIIREOF: SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND STORM
Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Sanitary sewer, watermain, laterals and service connections,
storm sewer and appurtenances serving the following area: Petition
No. 27
The area bounded by,the Mississippi River on the West,
Interstate Highway YP`694 on the North, railroad tracks
on the East and the South boundary of Lot 5 and Lot 16,
Auditor's Subdivision 979 on the South.
That the City Engineer, Nasim Qureshi and Comstock & Davis, Inc. are
hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and
specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the
costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from
inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to
be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and
to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether
said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made
as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the
estimated cost as recoTmended),including also a description of the
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be
proposed to be assessed.
j. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of
the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area
of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and
.each of them); and upon receipt from said Engineers of the said
preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be
proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
¢. That said preliminary report of the Engineers and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made
available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may
be affected thereby at any public hearin. held relative thereto, as
well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
