A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTII.IATES OF THE COSTS TFIERE01 STREET IIEPROVE. IFNT PROJECT
ST. 1969 -1
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bitum-
inous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water and sanitary sewer services,
and other facilities, located as follows:
In the area bounded by the Mississippi River on the West, Interstate
Highway fi694 on the North, railroad tracks on the East and the
South Boundary of Lot S and Lot 16, Auditor's Subdivision #79
on the South. Petition

That the City Engineer, Nasim Qureshi, and Comstock & Davis, Inc. are
hereby authorized and d- irected to draw the preliminary plans and
specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the
costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from
inception to- completion and. all fees and expenses incurred (or to
be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and
to make a preliminary report of his findings, statin; thereir_ whether
said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made
as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the
estimated cost as recommended),includ4ng also a description of the
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be
proposed to be assessed.
3. That.the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of
the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area
of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and
each of them ; and upon receipt from said Engineers of the said
preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be
proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
q. That said preliminary report of the Engineers and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made
'available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may
be affected thereby at any public heari.n.- held relative thereto, as
well as at any prior time reasonable_ and convenient.
