RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: WATER, SANITARY SEWER AND STORM
SEWER PROJECT 490
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 143 -1968 adopted the 16' day of September., 1968
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as spe.71-
fically noted in the Notice of llearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ",
and
WHEPE,AS, all. of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given ten (10)
days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weckl}
publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 143 -1968 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed
as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a) Watermain, sanitary sewer, laterals and service connection,
storm sewer and appurtenances serving the following area:
The property along the northerly street abutting on
Interstate ,'694 and East River Road referred to as track
"J" of the Industrial Park.
This will be the first phase of the total improvement plan.
Estimated cost for.this phase is $160,250.00.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under one
or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That the Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Fngi.neers, 1446 County
Road "J ", Mpls. are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve-
ment. They shall _ prepare final- plans and specifications for the making
of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY OF
OCTOBER , 1968.
