RESOLUTION NO. 169 -1968
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING EXISTING STOP SIGNS
AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO LOCATE ADEITIONAL
STOP SIGNS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council has authority to
designate locations for traffic signs; and
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council has in the past
designated many stop sign locations as more particularly appears
in Exhibit A, which exhibit is attached hereto and made a part
of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authority to delegate the
determination of stop sign locations to two or more employees.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Fridley City Council
does hereby ratify the previous Council's actions in locating said
stop signs as enumerated in Exhibit A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council
does hereby designate the Chief of Police and the City Engineer
as persons with authority to determine the location and
establishment of additional stop signs within the City of Fridley.
