RES 1968-23 - 00010326e p RESOLUTION NO. 23 -1968 , A RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Fridley, Minnesota as follm-7s: 1. That it is in the interest of the City to contracts for services described as the enforcement ordinances relating to the keeping of dogs, cats or animals. That it is further in the interest of the to continue the present contract with B & E Patrol, awarding of any new contract. award bid of all other City Council Inc. pending 2. A copy of the contract for the above described services has been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the ' same is hereby approved and adopted as a contract (agreement) and establishes terms of performance and payment therefor. 3. The purchase of said services as described above shall be effected by sealed bids to be received and opened by the City of Fridley at 10:30 A.M. on the 4th day of :larch, 1968. The City Manager is directed and authorized to advertise for the contracting of said services by sealed bid proposals under notice as provided by law and the Charter of the City of Fridley. The Notice to be substantially in form as that shown by Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part by this reference. Said notice shall be published at least 15 days or through two (2) publications in the official newspaper of Fridley. The City Manager is directed and authorized to advise B & E Patrol (Present Contractor) of Council desires to continue the present contract for their services until any new contract has been awarded. NOTICE TO BID CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA ANIMAL CONTROL The City Council of the City of Fridley will open bids at 10 :30 A.M. on March 4, 1968, at the City Hall, 6431 University Avenue Northeast, Fridley, Minnesota, 55421, for the enforcement of all City of Fridley Ordinances relating to the keeping of dogs, cats, or other animals. Information as to the terms and conditions and other data pertaining to the bid may be obtained from the office of the City Manager at 6431 University Avenue Northeast, Fridley, Minnesota, 55421. The bid should be in writing, sealed, and on the form prepared by the City.
