' A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO LIQUOR STUDY
OF HORWATH AND HORWATH
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota as follows;
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fridley did enter into an agreement with
Horwath and Horwath, Accountants and Auditors for a liquor study concerning
"Feasibility of returning Municipal Liquor to Private Enterprise "; and
WHEREAS, the Liquor Study was officially received from Horwath and
Horwath at the City Council Meeting of February 5, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Officials did review the Liquor
Study Report,and it appears there may be errors and omissions in such
report; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council did appoint a Mayor's Committee
to further evaluate the Liquor Study Report, and has not received the
evaluation of the appointed committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has not accepted the contents of the
report; nor has it concurred, approved or in anyway endorsed the contents
or recommendations of the Liquor Study Report;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fridley that the Liquor Study Report in no way reflects the official position
of the City Council, and that its contents and recommendations shall be
completely reviewed by the Evaluation Committee and again by the City Council
prior to any official rejection or acceptance of said report.
