RES 1968-59 - 00010386' RESOLUTION NO. 59 - 1968 A RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid contracts for the following item, materials and work: NEW TRACTOR PLUS ATTACHMENT 2. A copy of the specifications for the above described items and materials, together with a proposal for the method of purchase and the payment thereof have been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications, and the method of acquisition and payment to be required by the City with respect to the acquisition of said items and materials. 3. The purchase of said items and materials as described above shall be effected by sealed bids to be received and opened by the City of Fridley on the 20th day of May, 1968. The City Manager is directed and authorized to adver- tise for the purchase of said items and materials be sealed bid proposals under notice as provided by law and the Charter of the City of Fridley, the notice to be subsiantially in form as that shown by Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of by reference. Said notice shall be published at least twice in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley. Phone: 560 -3450 CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA NOTICE TO BID NEW TRACTOR PLUS ATTACHMENT EXHIBIT "A" The City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, will accept sealed bids on one (1) New Tractor plus Attachment on the 20th day of May, 1968, until 10;30 A.A. on said date at the City Hall, 6431 University Avenue Northeast, Fridley, Minnesota 55421, (Tel. 560- 3450). All bids must meet the minimum re- quirements of the specifications. Failure to comply with this section can re- sult in disqualification of the bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Cash or Bid Bond and made payable without conditions to the City of Fridley, Minnesota, in an amount of not less than 50 of the bid, which check, cash or bond shall be forfeited if bidder neglects or refuses to enter into Contract, after his bid has been accepted. The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is determined to be in the best interests of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities or technicalities in any bid received without explanation. The City Council also reserves the right to consider such factors as time of delivery or performance, experience, responsibility of the bidder, past per- formance of similar types of items or materials, availability of products and other similar factors that it may determine to be in the best interest of the City. Cbpies of the specifications and general conditions may be examined in the Parks and Recreation office - Director of Parks and Recreation, or copies may be ob- tained from his office.
