RES 1968-60 - 0001038897 I RESOLUTION NO. 60 - 1968 A RESOLUTION REGARDING VACATION OF MARSHALL STREET AND ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONAL PROPERTY SURROUNDING THE 37TH AVENUE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR OUTLET BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows; WHEREAS, the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District has formerly requested the vacation of Marshall Street through its property in Auditor's Subdivision No. 39, said Marshall Street containing 2.1 acres; and WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is amenable to said vaction; and WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has given valuable consideration for acquisition for street; and WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has its municipal liquor outlet located in the Southeast corner of Auditor's Subdivision No. 39; and WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is considering enlarging the municipal outlet and is in need of additional land for said enlargement. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Fridley -ill give its 2.1 acres known as Marshall Street in exchange for 1.3 acre.. of the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District's property abutting the Fridley muncipal liquor outlet. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Fridley does instruct its administration to execute and receive the necessary deeds to effect this exchange.
