RESOLUTION NO. 77 -1968
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED SEWER CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS AND THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis has proposed a revision
of the existing sewer contract between the City of Minneapolis and
the City of Fridley; and
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Council has directed the
administration to consult with and negotiate with the staff of the
City of Minneapolis in regard to a new contract; and
WHEREAS, the respective staffs of the City of Minneapolis
and the City of Fridley have negotiated and agreed upon a new
contract, copies of which have been distributed to the Fridley
City Council; and
WHEREAS, said proposed contract is in the opinion of the
Fridley City Council of benefit to the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council
does approve the contract as proposed and authorizes the Mayor and
City Manager to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Fridley.
