RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 1968
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE i,DOPTION OF PURCHASING
POLICY AS SET FORTH IN THE PURCHASING MANUAL
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Fridley City Charter authorizes the City Manager
to serve as chief purchasing agent of the City; and
WHEREAS,.the City Manager is authorized to enter into all
contracts with the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Charter provides for the making of additional
regulations pertaining to bids and letting contracts; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared a purchasing manual which
contains such regulations; and
WHEREAS, this manual has been reviewed and approved by the
Fridley City Council.,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager is
authorized to implement the procedures set forth in said manual, such
procedures to remain in effect until further action of the Fridley City
Council.
