RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 1968
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE RE- APPOINTMENT OF
MEMBERS OF THE POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has a three member Police Civil
Service Commission; and
WHEREAS, it has been the practice of this Council and previous
Councils not to re- appoint individuals when their three years term has
expired; and
WHEREAS, there exists the possibility that all of the experienced
members of the Commission may be terminated unless the Council re- appoints
existing members.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council believes that
it is important to continue the continuity of the Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council will consider the
re- appointment of existing members of the Police Civil Service Commission.
