There are about 17 miles of streets remaining that are below the City sta.ndarda, which are blacktop �pavement with curbing. The City suggests that these streets be improved on the schedule given below. This schedule should provide better street improvement through advanced planning of construction,,advance informatio.n to property owners, proper temporary repair of streets until permanently improved, and reduced en�ineering costs.
