RESOLUTION NO. 713 -1969
RESOLUTION ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ST. 1969 -3 (ADDENDUM #2)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 112 -1969 adopted the 7th day of July 1969
by'the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) are going to be
given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing
through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing will
be held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said
notice.
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to have firm bids for the Project so that
exact improvement cost figures could be given to the property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the plans and
specifications covering the following improve -
ments heretofore proposed
by the Council Resolution 112 -1969
are hereby ordered:
Street Improvements
including grading,
stabilized.base, hot -mix
bituminous mat, boulevard
work, water
and sanitary sewer lines
modifications, water
and sanitary sewer services, storm sewer and
other facilities located
as follows:
Riverview Terrace:
79th Avenue to 120
feet North of Kimball Street
Broad Avenue:
Buffalo Street to
Fairmont Street
79th Avenue:
Riverview Terrace
to Apex Lane
Buffalo Street:
Riverview Terrace
to Broad Avenue
Cheryl Street:
Riverview Terrace
to Broad Avenue
Dover Street:
Riverview Terrace
to Broad Avenue
Ely Street:
Riverview Terrace
to Broad Avenue
Fairmont Street: Riverview Terrace to 300 feet East
2. That Nasim M. Qureshi, City Engineer, and the City's Consulting
Engineers are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve-
ment. They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
