RESOLUTION ORDERING I1 +HROVFi•1IIVT AND FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF:
STREET IMPROVP PROJECT ST;•1970 -1
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90 -1969 adopted the 16th day of June, 1969
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were
given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing
through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was
held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 90 -1969 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements including grading, stabilized base, hot mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water, sanitary sewer
lines and services, incidental drainage and other facilities
located as follows:
(Storm Sewer system for incidental drainage
* 70th Way: East River Road to Hickory Drive only)
-Hickory Drive: 69th Way to 70th Way
Hickory Circle: Hickory Drive to cul de sac
Hickory Place: Hickory Drive to 70th Way
Hartman Circle: Including the straight and curved road
7312 Avenue: Highway #65 to Central Avenue
Onondaga Street: Bacon Drive to Lakeside Road
Lakeside Road: 75th Avenue to Osborne Road
61st Avenue: McKinley Street to Stinson Boulevard
McKinley Street: Cul de sac to North to 61st Avenue
T.H. #65 Fast Service Rd.: 732 Avenue to Fireside Drive
T.H. #65 East Service Rd.: Railroad Tracks to 72nd Avenue
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, and the City's Consulting
Engineers are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improvement.
They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY OF
JULY 1969.
