RESOLUTION NO. 62 -1969
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECI-
FICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVE-
MENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -3
WHEREAS, Resolution #36 -1969 adopted the 3rd day of March, 1969
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
#36 -1969 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
The improvements as noted under the Construction Item in the
Notice of Hearing (in Exhibit "A ") for the following streets:
Longfellow Street: East River Road to 800 feet West
Spring Brook Place: 79th Way to Longfellow Street
79th Way: Apex Lane to East River Road
T.H. #47 West Service Drive: Osborne Road to 69th Avenue
(including loopbacks)
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts.as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, and City's Consulting
Engineers are hereby designated as the Engineers for this
improvement. They shall prepare final plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY OF APRIL, 1969.
