RESOLUTION NO. 77 -1969
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING IMPROVEMENT OF THE
INTERSECTION OF CENTRAL AVENUE AND T.H. NO. 65
FOR BETTER TRAFFIC FLOW AND SAFETY
WHEREAS, Central Avenue, Hackmann Avenue, Hillwind
Road (outer drive for Interstate #694 in the NE quadrant)
West Moore Lake Drive and the outer drive in the NW
quadrant (exit for the 100 Twin Theatre), all outlet
onto this intersection,
WHEREAS, due to all this traffic, this intersection
is getting quite congested and is in need of improvement
for better traffic control and flow,
NOW BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Fridley, that the Minnesota Department of Highways
and Anoka County Highway Department are hereby requested
to make the necessary studies for the improvement of the
intersection of Central Avenue and T.H. #65 and do the
improvements.
