RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND
I SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: WATER
AND SANITARY SEWER PROJECT #93
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 53 -1969 adopted the 7th day of
April, 1969 by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the
proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing
attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
Notice) were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice
of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the
required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #53 -1969 are hereby ordered to be effected and
completed as soon as possible to -wit:
Water mains, sanitary sewer, laterals and service connections
and other facilities to serve the streets in the area bounded
by:
79th Avenue extended on the North, Osborne Road on the South,
University Avenue on the East and the Railroad tracks on
the West side basically including the streets, Osborne Road,
78th Avenue, 79th Avenue, Gumwood Street, Hickory Street,
Main Street, streets between Main & University Avenue, and
the West Service Drive of University on the proposed plat
of East Ranch Estates.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be per-
formed under one or more contracts as may be deemed ad-
visable upon receipt of bids.
3. That Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 1446
County Road "J ", Minneapolis are hereby designated as the
Engineers for this improvement. They shall prepare final
plans and specifications for the making of such improve-
ment.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 19TH DAY OF
MAY, 1969.
