RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO.
1970 -4 (ADDENDUM #2)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 107 -1970 adopted the 18th day of May, 1970
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for re-
ference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and
the hearing was held and the property owners heard theron at the hearing,
as noted in said notice.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 107 -1970 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base,
bituminous surfacing, storm sewer system and other facilities
located as follows:
Road on West side of Target Warehouse: R/R Tracks to 73rd
Avenue
Locke Park East Parking Lot
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, and the Consulting
Engineers of the City of Fridley are hereby designated as the
Engineers for this improvement. They shall prepare final plans
and specifications for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 15TH DAY OF JUNE, 1970.
