RESOLUTION NO. 14 -1970
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: WATER PROJECT NO. 98
WHEREAS, Resolution #217 -1969 adopted the 15th day of December, 1969,
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
#217 -1969 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible to -wit:
Water main and other appurtenances, on the east side of
East River Road, starting from the southerly end of Outlet
A, running along Outlet I to Lot 1, Block 3, Great Northern
Industrial Center.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of
bids.
3. That the Consulting Engineers, Comstock and Davis, Inc., 1446
County Road J, Minneapolis are hereby designated as the Engineers
for this improvement. They shall prepare final plans and speci-
fications for the making of such improvement.
