A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF
THE COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1971 -3
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous
mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer system, and other
facilities located as follows:
1. East River Road
Interstate #694 to Hartman Circle
2. East River Road West So. line of N. 2 Section 22 to the South
Frontage Road property line of the East River Estates
Plat and then Westerly along South side
of plat to Anna Avenue
3. Proposed 60th Way: running Anna Avenue to East River Road
along the N. property line of
Lot 1 of Hayes River Lots
4. East River Road East 450 Feet N. of the S. line of NZ Sec. 22
Frontage Road to 600 Feet S. of the N. line of NZ Sec. 22

2. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, City Hall, Fridley, Minnesota is
hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications
and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improve-
ments, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees
and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the
financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can
best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements
(and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be
assessed.
3. That said preliminary report of the Engineer shall be furnished to the Council.
