RESOLUTION NO. 161 -1970
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1970 -1 ADDENDUM #3
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 137 -1970 adopted the 20th day of July, 1970
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvement, as
specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given ten
(10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through
two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and
the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 137 -1970 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Sidewalk improvement including grading and other work located as
follows:
South side of Osborne Road: West side of Unity Hospital to
existing walk on East side of Baker
Street.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That Nasim M. Qureshi, City Engineer - Director of Planning, City
Hall, Fridley, Minnesota is hereby designated as the Engineer for
this improvement. He shall prepare final plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 17TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1970.
